It might come as a surprise for many of us, but water is so important for many of the processes going on in our body. When the body gets dehydrated, which happens faster than you think, the body slows down. Energy level drops, processes run slower, and you won’t be able to benefit from all of the nutrition you get through your food. Make sure to drink 1.5-2 liters of water every day. You lose fluids throughout the day, both through breathing, sweating and the countless visits to the toilet. Tip: get some of the water through your food! Peppers, watermelon, cucumber and strawberries are rich in water that may help you get more energy in the morning.
