Smoothies are super easy and tasty meals. They let you combine health and nutrition to such an extent there is almost no limit. How about having one of these for lunch?

 

Healthy smoothies #1: Pineapple and spinach

This smoothie gives you a solid dose of antioxidants, digestive enzymes and anti-inflammatory substances. These ingredients won’t just make you feel satiated, they will also help you lose weight and rinse your body. It holds few calories and certainly belongs in the category of healthy smoothies.

You need:

  • 3 slices of pineapple
  • Juice of ¼ lemon
  • 6 spinach leaves
  • ¼ fresh ginger
  • 1 dl water

How to do it:

Mix all ingredients in a blender until the smoothie is, well, smooth. Serve immediately.

 

Healthy smoothies #2: Mandarin and orange

It isn’t just packed with antioxidants; it will also contribute to your memory. Antioxidants helps conquer oxidative stress, which is free radicals in our bodies. When you are stressed or put under pressure, or you find yourself in contaminated surroundings, free radicals are made in your body. If they become too many, they will try to destroy cells in your body. Antioxidants protects your cells and strengthens your immune system. Thereby, healthy smoothies like this one may contribute to you keeping you good health and memory for longer.

You need:

  • 1 mandarin
  • Juice from 5 oranges
  • 125 ml milk
  • 2 ml almond extract
  • 25 g honey

How to do it:

Remove seeds from the mandarin. Mix all ingredients in a blender until there are no bits and pieces. Sweeten with honey.

 

Healthy smoothies #3: Strawberry and oatmeal

Probably not the one that immediately triggers water in your mouth, but if you’ve tried it once you are guaranteed to be wanting it again! Strawberry and oatmeal give you a solid B-vitamin refill, in addition to a proper dose of antioxidants to protect your cells. Oatmeal is rich in fiber, which will give you that comfy feeling of satiety. Healthy smoothies like this one is perfect for the summer season, with fresh, delicious strawberries giving a taste of summer.

You need:

  • 10 g grounded linseeds
  • 40 g oatmeal
  • 1 banana
  • 5 ripe strawberries
  • 200 ml water

How to do it:

Gently wash the strawberries and remove the green. Mix strawberries, oatmeal, banana and linseed in a blender before adding water and running it at full speed. Enjoy!
