Chicken and vegetable wraps

This is truly a dinner low in calories. One portion holds less than 250 kcal, yet it is filled with vitamins, minerals and nutrion.

You need:

  • Corn tortilla
  • 50 g chicken
  • 50 g onion
  • 100 g red pepper
  • 100 g green pepper

 

How to do it:

Cut onion and pepper into thin slices and heat them in a hot pan with some olive oil. Cut the chicken and fry them with the vegetables. Add salt and pepper and let it rest for a few minutes. Heat the tortilla, fill it with chicken and vegetables, and enjoy!

 

Filled pepper with tuna

Tuna contain proteins and omega 3, which are important nutrition for your body. Besides, pepper is rich in antioxidants, and also a really good source to vitamin C. This is also dinner low in calories, each portion holding about 250 kcal.

  • 150 g pepper
  • 85 g tuna (boxed, in water)
  • 100 g onion
  • Light mozzarella cheese (about 20 g)
  • Salt and pepper

 

How to do it:

Preheat your oven to 180 degrees. Wash the pepper thoroughly and place it at a paper at a baking tray. Cook it in the oven for about 45 minutes. While the pepper is cooking, cut the onion and mix it with the tuna. Use salt and pepper to your own taste.

Let the pepper cool for a little while before removing the black peel. Open it at top, remove the seeds, and fill it with your onion- tuna mix. Top it with mozzarella and give it a couple more minutes in the oven till the cheese has melted.

 

Bean salad with beef

Who says dinner low in calories must to be boring? This meal holds about 355 kcal per portion and gives you a meal that fills you with nutrition. The recipe is enough for four portions.

You need:

  • 5 dl green beans
  • about 400 grams cooked beef in dices
  • 1 ½ tbsp shallot
  • 1 can washed red beans
  • 1 can washed black soya beans
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp dried oregano
  • ¼ tsp pepper

 

How to do it:

Steam the green beans for about 5 minutes, or until they are soft. Remove the water and put the beans into a bowl, before adding the meat, shallot, red beans and soya beans. Mix it well. Mix spices with vinegar and oil and pour it over the bean salad. Cool it down and enjoy!
